Методи: бесіда

Обладнання: підручник, картки для роботи в парах, таблиця відмінювання дієслів ”tobe” “tohave”, зведена граматична таблиця видочасових форм дієслова.

І. Організація класу. Привітання.

T.: Good-morning children. Please, take your seats. How are you today? I’m your new teacher of English. My name is Inna Anatoliivna.  Before we start I’d like to get acquainted with you. Who is your monitor? I need you to write me down the list of your group.

ІІ. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T.: You are first-year students or freshmen now. Only three years of study are left. By the end of the studying you’ll be able to speak English quite fluently and freely on the suggested topics, to understand the native speakers, to write accurately.

T.: While your monitor is working. I’d like to begin our work with “Greetings”. You are distributed with the sets of cards. There are different variants of greetings and replies. Let’s read them and find good Ukrainian equivalents.

Основна частина уроку:

ІІІ. Робота з підручником.

1.Pre-reading activities. We are going to read a text, before that let’s play the game “Associating Words”. What associates in your mind with the word “the first year student”?

2. While-reading activities. Let’s read the text one by one and translate it. While we are reading write out the words into your copy-books, which are connected with the title “I am tenth form pupil”.

IV. Виконання вправ

1.     Please, open your books at page 4. There are small dialogues, let’s read them in pairs and translate.

V. Повторення граматичного матеріалу

1. Let’s revise grammar a little bit. I give you cards. There you see how are the verbs “to be” and “to have” declined. Use this while doing Ex.5, p.5 in writing.
