Check-in = registration of the hotel guest

upgrade (n) =  a room of a higher standard, „better“ room (e.g. upgraded room)

upgrade (a room, hotel) = to improve the category of something (change the lower category of room/  hotel to a higher category)

upsell = to convince the client to buy sth more expensive (to buy an upgrade)
